I am not so much waiting for another Cuddy centric episode, but with the help of THIS scene of Hugh (singing) and the RSL spoiler about THE ODD COUPLE back together...

...I think I can do it.. and I am now very curious to see their dream-sequences ... Hilson is back.. :))

First of all, this first little bit with HL singing as House is disturbing and yet sexy...which really makes me wonder about myself. It also makes me wonder if my fears about Cuddy's dreams being lighthearted and hopeful about her relationship with House have been unfounded. This could be a very disturbing and depressing episode as far as her dreams go. Interesting. We'll have to wait and see.

Anyone know the singer of this version of 'Come On, Get Happy'? Aside from Hugh, of course.

It's an old Judy Garland song.

Unless you're thinking of some other version, performed by a man.

It's not Judy Garland in the clip though is it?

Definitely not her, listening to it again. I want to know who the singer is in the clip.

I'm sorry, which clip are you referring to? The one posted above, the sneak peak; or the one I linked you to?

I want to know who is in the sneak peak clip.

Yeah, no, that's Hugh Laurie. He's singing.

Okay, thanks for trying to help. There is a female singing in the clip after Hugh sings and I would like to know who it is. If anyone else knows, I'd love to be told. Thanks.

Most likely Lisa Edelstein, as she's supposed to sing in this ep (and I'm assuming there's only the one musical number, as all signs point to that being the case).

That's what I've gathered. Hopefully they're all least release it as a song or something. Thanks for the help.

I'm actually really excited about this episode. Unlike most, I've enjoyed a lot of episodes this season. Think about it, from the very beginning the Huddy relationship has had nothing but a negative spin--even the cringe-worthy and seemingly OOC moments are translated, to me, as more disturbing than cheesy. I feel like this whole season has been dedicated to showing just how inherently unhealthy the House/Cuddy relationship is. I don't know why Huddies are so happy this season. If I were one of them, I would think this exploration into Huddy-dom to be unfair, just because of how negative the relationship has been portrayed from the very start. Of course, I'm a Hilson shipper until the very end, so I've sadistically been enjoying the painful (and trust me, it has been painful) ride to the end.

My friend, who used to be a Huddy shipper, switched over to Hilson when she started watching this season. I believe her logic was that House was "way happier being friends with Wilson in season 6 than he's been this season dating Cuddy."

Got a little off-track here. Anyway, I'm looking forward to this episode. It's going to show just how twisted this relationship really is.

I am a little weirded out by the "House watches Cuddy get anesthesia" clip being exactly the same as the "House watches Wilson get anesthesia" clip from the ep Wilson. Is it supposed to be parallel? Guess I'll have to wait to see the ep.

House was "way happier being friends with Wilson in season 6 than he's been this season dating Cuddy."

I definitely agree with this. Season Seven has been the season of House trying way too hard.

Well, contrary to popular opinion, there are quite a few H/Cuddy shippers who adore the ship and its dysfunction, and never expected/wanted it to be happily ever after. I also adore H/W, but I certainly don't think that's a healthy, balanced relationship either. (There's also the issue of how you ship a couple in your head and how you expect it to go down on the show. I don't think H/W would be any less of a trainwreck, tbh.)

If anything, I think TPTB have actually toed the line when it comes to H/C, telling us certain things, while being afraid to actually go there (I'm also of the opinion that the original team should've left at the end of s3, or at least give them a solid and meaningful send-off in s4, rather than watering them down). They've managed to drive H/C haters to feeling the show is all about them and H/C lovers to thinking there's not nearly enough.

There's a lot of room for conflict in the relationship, but I feel as though some of it has been plucked out of thin air, rather than being true to the dynamic. I think they're getting there, though. Loved the implications of the last ep's ending. I'm also looking forward to getting some insight into where Cuddy's head is at in this relationship, since, IMO, much of the conflict has left her out of the loop.
